Position Overview
Exaforce is looking for a Field Marketing Director to own our presence in the market. This role is responsible for building and executing a field program that drives pipeline through owned events, third-party conferences, targeted regional activations, and virtual events. You will work closely with marketing leadership and sales to align on strategy, messaging, and priorities, then operate with a high degree of independence to bring those plans to life. If you thrive on owning outcomes end-to-end and know how to build a room full of the right people, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the field marketing calendar, including conference sponsorships, executive dinners, roundtables, hosted events, and virtual events, with pipeline goals attached.
- Collaborate with marketing leadership and sales to align on event selection and messaging before each program, then execute independently without ongoing hand-holding.
- Lead all logistics for owned events from venue selection and catering to run-of-show and day-of execution.
- Drive attendance for hosted events through coordinated outreach across sales, as well as marketing channels, running both motions in parallel.
- Build pre-event meeting programs with sales for third-party conferences so the team arrives with a full calendar.
- Ensure all field touchpoints reflect current messaging and positioning, and brief any colleagues attending alongside you.
- Own lead capture and post-event follow-up workflows, routing qualified contacts to sales and tracking outcomes.
- Manage field marketing budget with discipline, tracking spend and ROI against pipeline per program, and cutting what does not convert.
- Facilitate honest post-event debriefs that close the loop with the broader team and improve future execution.
Qualifications
- Experience in B2B SaaS or cybersecurity.
- Track record of running owned events, including executive dinners and roundtables, and driving measurable pipeline from them.
- Experience working closely with sales and BDR teams to coordinate outreach and meeting programs around events.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
- Comfort operating independently once the strategy is set, without requiring frequent check-ins or direction.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to align cross-functional stakeholders quickly.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with HubSpot or a similar CRM for lead routing and pipeline tracking.
- Experience with LinkedIn and email marketing for event promotion and attendance driving.
- Background working at an early-stage or high-growth startup, where you built programs without established infrastructure.
What We Offer
- A high-ownership role at a fast-moving company building something genuinely new in cybersecurity.
- A collaborative team that sets direction together and trusts you to execute.
- Competitive salary and benefits package.
- The opportunity to build a field marketing function that scales with the company.
How to Apply
Interested candidates should send a resume and a brief note on a field program they owned and what it produced to marketing-careers@exaforce.com with the subject line "Field Marketing Director."
