Job Duties
- Develop software security solutions for IoT platform.
- Code in multiple languages while considering performance, scalability, maintainability, and flexibility.
- Collaborate with software architects and business leaders to understand the requirements for providing security services for platform, design solutions, and implement them.
- Vet various open source and closed source technologies, components, libraries, and tools and help build a highly available, highly scalable and easily manageable software system.
- Provide technical leadership in multiple domain areas and mentorship to team members.
- Take responsibility and ownership of software components and deliver a complete product satisfying functional, scale, performance and manageability requirements.
Education and Experience
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and 6 years of software engineering experience.
Background
1) Coding in multiple languages while considering performance, scalability, maintainability, and flexibility;
2) Implementing all phases of a software development cycle;
3) Delivering a complete product satisfying functional, scale, performance and manageability requirements;
4) Cloud orchestration systems including Openstack and Kubernetes;
5) Vetting various open source and closed source technologies, components, libraries, and tools and building a highly available, highly scalable and easily manageable system;
6) Virtualization technologies including KVM and Docker.
Rate of Pay
$264,541 to $271,541 per year
