Lead Solutions Engineer, India

About Exaforce

Exaforce is an agentic SOC platform and MDR service built for AI-era threats. Our four Exabots (Detect, Triage, Investigate, and Respond) work on top of a unified data layer and real-time knowledge graph, so security teams get context and reasoning instead of another alert queue.

Customers run us two ways. Some operate the platform with their own team guided by Exabots. Others hand it to us, and our MDR analysts and Exabots become their 24/7 SOC. We ingest from more than 100 sources across cloud, identity, endpoint, SaaS, and development environments.

What that has meant in practice: Forcepoint runs a 14 minute MTTR on P0s with 95% of alerts auto-triaged as verified false positives. Accton cut mean time to investigate by 94%, from three hours to ten minutes. Invisible Technologies got back more than six FTEs of time every month while keeping 24/7 coverage with a lean team.

We raised a $125M Series B in May 2026, bringing us to $200M total, and now we are a 150+ people and growing organization.

What you own

Everything technical in every deal in your region. The center of the job is the Proof of Value, and at Exaforce the SE owns the POV end to end. You set the success criteria with the customer, scope the data sources, run the onboarding, drive the outcome, surface findings the customer did not expect, and land the technical win.

Most of your time goes to security operations people: SOC managers buried in alerts, IT managers trying to do it all, and CISOs who need to explain the program to a board.

Beyond the deals, you own the region's technical foundation. The demo environment, the integration guides for the log sources our India and APAC customers actually run, the POV runbook, the competitive responses. Whatever the next SE we hire needs on day one, you are the person who wrote it.

What you'll do

  • Run discovery that surfaces pain the customer has not named yet, including walking through a day in the life of their analysts in their own environment.
  • Deliver demos built for whoever is actually in the room, and hold the thread when the room pushes back.
  • Own POVs from first scoping call to technical win: success criteria, data source scope, onboarding, execution, wrap-up.
  • Co-sell our MDR service with the MDR team, including scoping guardrails, SLAs, and escalation paths with the customer.
  • Present wrap-ups to mixed rooms, translating what you found into business value without losing the practitioners.
  • Build the region's technical assets from scratch: demo lab, integration guides, POV runbooks, objection handling.
  • Feed the product team real signals from real deals. At our stage your issue reports and prioritization input directly change the roadmap.
  • Grow into technical leadership of the India SE team as we scale, if that is what you want.

What we're looking for

  • Deep expertise in at least two of these, and working fluency across the rest: email security, SIEM, SOAR, MDR or MSSP, EDR, cloud security, identity. We mean deep. You can hold your own against the engineer who built the thing, not just present the slide about it.
  • A track record you can point at. POVs you scoped, ran and closed yourself, not ones you supported. Tell us how many you ran last year, how many you won, and which one you lost and why.
  • Genuine security operations fluency. You understand triage queues, escalation paths, detection tuning, and why analysts burn out, because you have either worked in a SOC or sold into one deeply enough to understand them.
  • Credibility on detection and telemetry. Log sources and schemas, query languages, and enough depth on cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), identity (Okta, Entra ID), and endpoint (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne) to answer a skeptical detection engineer.
  • Evidence you build rather than consume. Created the assets your team then used. Someone who has only ever worked from a fully built playbook will struggle here.
  • The ability to be the only technical person in the room, with nobody to escalate to, and be trusted anyway.
  • Strong presentation skills across the full range, from a hands-on analyst to a CISO.
