Position Overview

Exaforce is seeking a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving new business, managing the full sales cycle, and growing revenue in defined segments (e.g., mid-market / enterprise). You will act as a consultative seller, understanding customer challenges in security / risk / compliance, positioning solutions appropriately, and building long-term relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities across target industries (for example: financial services, technology, healthcare, enterprise verticals).
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for assigned territories/accounts to meet or exceed quota.
  • Conduct discovery sessions to understand customer pain points, security posture, infrastructure, compliance challenges, etc.
  • Deliver compelling product demos / solution presentations, tailoring messaging to stakeholder needs (security teams, engineering, risk/compliance, C-suite).
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of service.
  • Work cross-functionally with Customer Success / Onboarding / Product / Engineering to ensure smooth handover and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline hygiene, and sales activity metrics using CRM
  • Keep abreast of the competitive landscape and market trends in cybersecurity / threat intelligence / detection & response.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, webinars, etc., to generate leads and build brand awareness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (technical major or business preferred).
  • Minimum 3-5+ years of proven enterprise sales or account executive experience in cybersecurity / security software / SaaS solutions (or closely related field).
  • Strong understanding of security concepts: threat detection, incident response, cloud security, SIEM, etc.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to converse credibly with both technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in complex sales cycles.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts / deals simultaneously with high attention to detail.
  • Travel as needed (for customers, conferences, etc.).

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience with security / risk compliance or selling into these functions.
  • Examples include experience selling to cyber security teams & operations with tooling in AI-SOC, SIEM, SOAR, modern tools in Cloud (IaaS + services), SaaS, Identity, Email, Endpoint, etc.
  • Experience working in the Bay Area / West Coast markets.
  • Startup / early account executive experience
  • Existing relationships in target verticals for quicker go-to-market.
